Many students that have concluded their UTME/Jamb registration think that UTME/Jamb exam is hard, the truth is that it is as hard as you make it or see it, for many who jamb expo know the secret it is not hard at all. But you need to know these points, before going into the examination area:
First: Study hard and be prepared for the questions
Two: Know the strategy to answer UTME/JAMB examination questions.
For example, in the sciences such as Hormones and Physics, the first few pages are filled with data whereas the last pages are straight answer questions. If you are not aware, you will start from the beginning wasting time on calculations questions you can solve ordinarily. But if you answer the straightforward questions first, you would have settled down and gained some time before attempting the calculations part.
If Biology is part of your subjects, run through it before going to hormones and Physics. You will sure get more than half the time saved for Hormones and Physics. In Maths, you are ranked based on the number of questions you answered correctly. If you can answer 30 questions out of 50 for instance and get them all correctly, you will get a higher mark than someone who used all questions through guess work.
JAMB/UTME ENGLISH – Read your questions first before answering.
Three: Learn to practice with past questions as the examiners, no matter how creative or crafty, would still come out with similar questions to the past questions.
Finally forget about “runs” because most of the “runs” men are not aware of anything. There are so many of them who cannot speak good English and still they profess to organize “runs” for JAMB students. How do you expect the students to pass through such “runs”?
Following the above steps is the easiest way to find yourself on campus come next instructional session. Hope to see you on campus next session.
